The Chinese New Year is the most important holiday in the traditional Chinese calendar. New Year’s Day falls on the new moon between 21 January and 21 February. The Year of the Earth Pig begins today – 5 February 2019!

According to tradition, the Year of the Pig symbolises happiness, wealth and good fortune. It brings good nature and generosity, but also contentment, optimism, courage and tolerance.
