Every BFF Day, we tackle an important social issue – because young people and their dreams, problems and issues matter to us.
This year, we’d like to introduce you to Youth Against AIDS, an organisation consisting of school and university students and young professionals. They do outstanding work raising awareness of issues surrounding sexuality. Their aim is to help young people approach their sexuality with a sense of responsibility and confidence.
They are working to eradicate sexually transmitted diseases in young people by encouraging openness and mutual respect. As well as workshops, their outreach work now includes a great book titled FAQ YOU, aimed at helping young people confidently navigate the often complex and uncertain process of dealing with their own sexuality.
Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus pandemic, the organisation can’t be with us for BFF Day – so they’ve sent us a few giveaways. Our team will be handing these out on BFF Day (25 July 2020). We’re also giving away five pairs of FAQ YOU books in our social media prize draw on BFF Day. Have a look and get involved!
DO WHAT YOU WANT. DO IT WITH LOVE, RESPECT AND CONDOMS.
We’re sending our love and support to Youth Against AIDS!
